Behaviour Interactive has revealed more lore in anticipation of the survival game’s first 2SLGBTQ+ character. Dead By Daylight’s 11th Tome in the Archives: Devotion series shed some light on the story of character David King, an already-playable character in the game. The new 11th Tome will allow fans to uncover memories of David King, revealing them to be the game’s first 2SLGBTQ+ character.
Behaviour Interactive attributes part of its success to its large 2SLGBTQ+ fan base, writing in a press release: “Many fans have longed for more representation within the game and expressed the need to identify with their favorite characters and they will be thrilled to dig through the 11th Tome of the game’s Archives: Devotion. Available on April 28, the new Tome will uncover memories of The Twins as well as Survivor David King, revealing his struggle to come to terms with his homosexuality.”
The new tome also includes new narrative content, outfits, and collections. Tome 11: Devotion will be available on Dead by Daylight tomorrow, April 28, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, Stadia, and PC.
