The David Miller TEDxTO 2011 presentation envisions a city of the future, where the environment and economy are coexisting themes rather than separate entities.
David Miller was elected the 63rd mayor of Toronto in 2003 for a three-year term, followed by a reelection in 2006 for another four years. Miller has worked hard during his term in office to improve the green initiatives of the city and encourage citizens to do the same. During the David Miller TEDxTO 2011 speech, the audience sat entranced at the passion with which Toronto's previous mayor spoke concerning what an ideal city of the future looks like, as well as how such a feat would be accomplished. Miller believes that all citizens have a duty for creating these changes, and through fusing economic and environmental issues and objectives, this stable, productive society can be obtained.
The David Miller TEDxTO 2011 speech envisioned a city for the future by making the necessary changes today.
