'Tab' is a Dating Tool That Matches Up Users Entirely at Random

Unlike other dating services, 'Tab' tries to add an element of serendipity to digital dating. Tab is a new matchmaking service that is based on the idea that chance encounters are all that's needed to spark a romance between two strangers.

The service is not an app, but rather an Internet application for Chrome users. The Tab extension will run in the background of a user's desktop browser at all times and will display a new potential match each time the user opens a new tab. To match with someone, a user simply clicks on a small heart button. If the browser displays two hearts, it means that a mutual match has been made.

Tab tries to remove the effort of actively searching through potential matches. Instead, Tab is based entirely on serendipitous connections that happen when a user is least expecting it.
