Harmony's Capsule, 'Da Alfredo Positano' Draws Inspiration From Italy
References: en.harmony-paris & hypebeast
The newest project from Parisian fashion brand Harmony is entitled the 'Da Alfredo Positano.' It encapsulates Italian vibes from Italian restaurant in a town that Harmony's founder, David Obadia visits frequently. The restaurant is on the Amalfi coast and Obadia draws the inspiration specifically from the color palette. The color scheme highlights royal blues, shades of white and beige, all recalling the region's golden era, as these colors were meant to symbolize wealth during the 50s.
The Da Alfredo Positano collection taps into the aesthetics of a 'summer holiday' as well with its use of fabric materials. The capsule uses silks, towelling, and cupro materials, but also wools, mohair, and wool crepe. Some pieces in the collection include denim jackets, blazers, tailored lightweight coats, suits, and button up shirts.
