Timekettle is expanding customizable AI interpretation with a new Custom Glossary feature for its X1 Meeting Interpreter Hub. The update allows users to correct frequently misheard words before translation begins, helping preserve intended meanings during multilingual conversations. Users can also establish preferred translations for company names, locations, and specialized terminology.
The feature enables meeting organizers to configure terminology on a host device, allowing other participating devices using the same language direction to apply consistent translations. Available through a free firmware update, the system supports conversations involving up to five languages, with accommodation for 10 in-person devices and 50 online participants.
For Timekettle, the enhancement strengthens its existing interpreter platform without requiring additional hardware purchases. Businesses conducting international meetings could benefit from fewer terminology-related misunderstandings, more consistent communication, and smoother collaboration across language barriers.
