Ernesta opened its first West Coast showroom on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica, offering designer-quality, made-to-order rugs sized to the inch and produced in as little as two weeks. The showroom brings the brand’s custom-sizing capabilities into a physical space where homeowners and designers can explore materials and options in person.
The Santa Monica location displays Ernesta’s assortment of wool, natural-fiber and performance rugs, including four styles from the Earth Tones Collection made with materials such as 100% wool and viscose. Visitors can meet with the in-store design team for personalized consultations and access expanded customization, including stair runners, corner shapes and custom cutouts. The showroom also offers white-glove delivery and installation.
For shoppers, the location creates a higher-touch rug-buying experience that prioritizes precise fit and material choice over off-the-shelf options. As Ernesta’s 12th showroom, it reflects custom home brands’ investment in omnichannel retail while expanding the company’s access to Los Angeles homeowners and design professionals.
