From Culinary Bro-Down, the Ramnut Brings Together Two Unlikely Foods

— November 14, 2014 — Lifestyle
Thanks to food blog Culinary Bro-Down, the ramen donut is now a thing (and a thing they're taking very seriously). This instant noodle and fried pastry mashup comes in a variety of different donut types, including jelly, sprinkled and Boston Cream.

Dubbed the Ramnut, the ramen recipe took a sweet turn instead of the more popular savory route. When asked if the ramen donuts taste good, Culinary Bro-Down described the Ramnuts as "they're starchy, they're crispy, they're covered in frosting and stuffed with custard -- that's about all I can tell you."

If you choose to make your own (for scientific purposes), the recipe requires six packages of instant ramen in addition to a range of different frosting, filling and topping according to your own taste preferences.
