Ocean Spray is introducing cranberry-inspired diner menus through The Saucy Spoon Diner, a temporary New York City restaurant experience centered on unconventional uses for cranberry sauce. The concept transforms a traditional holiday side dish into an ingredient for everyday comfort foods, allowing visitors to explore its sweet and tart flavor in unexpected combinations.
The one-day pop-up takes place October 22, 2026, at 33 Leonard Street, offering complimentary dishes without reservations. Menu selections include cranberry-stuffed pancakes, grilled cheese, mozzarella sticks, chicken and waffles, and milkshakes. Ocean Spray is also collaborating with Foodbeast to share recipes that consumers can recreate at home.
For Ocean Spray, the experience creates opportunities to encourage year-round cranberry sauce consumption beyond seasonal celebrations. The limited-time format could attract curious diners, while accessible recipes extend the campaign's reach and encourage consumers to experiment with the ingredient independently.
