Covert by Quirky is a clever locking system that remains invisible to the eyes. Although it seems like it would be something that the military developed, it is actually a very simple system. It is basically a sliding mechanism that is controlled by a magnetic key.
Easily installable, Covert by Quirky comes in two parts: the key and the latch. The lock has an adhesive back that allows it to stick to any surface temporarily. It can also be screwed in for added security. Once placed within the drawer it is meant to protect, it remains undetectable. Unfortunately, because of the magnets, it will only work through certain wood thicknesses. Also, once the lock is discovered, any magnet can open it up.
