Retro Chauffeured Hollywood Shoots

Cosmopolitan South Africa April 2012 Goes to 'Sunset Boulevard'

Finnish model Noora Lappi stars in a sunny California-set editorial for the Cosmopolitan South Africa April 2012 issue that features 1970s and contemporary style influences. The stylish shoot was shot on the location in Cape Town, South Africa at the Mount Nelson Hotel, despite its ‘Sunset Boulevard,’ Hollywood theme. The retro shoot features sleek silk scarfs, large round sunglasses, pleated slacks and delicate sequined cardigans, as well as neutral-tone leather pumps and bulky gold jewelry. The beauty look for the shoot includes Noora with dramatic wavy blonde hair and smoky eye makeup with excessive liquid eyeliner application.

The ‘Sunset Boulevard’ was captured by the lens of photographer Dewald Daniels, with fashion selection by stylist Bev Nates. The Cosmopolitan South Africa April 2012 issue features British songstress Adele on the cover.
