French vegan brand Arsayo created the Exotic Cork Skin collection of cork backpacks to mimic the look of exotic leather products in a completely ethical way. The backpacks are made with bark from oak trees yet mimic crocodile and snakeskin with styles called Cork-odile and Snake Skin Cork.
The lightweight and stylish vegan backpacks are natural, organic, easy to clean and are available in a range of sizes and include details like secure closures and a cotton interior.
To help keep prices down, the collection is exclusively available for pre-order, which also plays a part in reducing waste. As Arsayo describes, "With the pre-order system, we will only produce according to the demand, and since we cut out the middlemen, you will pay less."
