With Google+ quickly descending into obscurity, Google has created a new content-sharing platform for those who are looking for a simple way to discuss different topics with like-minded individuals.

Google's new app is called 'Spaces' and it is a stand-alone platform that combines Google Chrome, YouTube and Search into a single tool. Once downloaded, users can created individual 'spaces' dedicated to different topics. They can then share content from the web and YouTube directly within the app. There is also a conversation feature that allows users to see what what other users are currently discussing.

Ideal for small groups such as book clubs, study groups and families, the app provides and easy way for multiple people to discuss specific topics of interest.
