The EXO construction gear system is creatively designed to be responsive thanks to smart-enabled technology as a way to increase overall safety to workers on site. The project is spearheaded by Pushstart as a way to help increase the protection of employees out on jobs, without adding a cost to the end-user.
The system will feature a series of wearables that are specifically built to help monitor the worker's health and environment. These include a hard hat that is able to detect preemptively detect injury potential from heat, accidents or fall impact. The helmet can alert fellow team members if an injury occurs, for immediate assistance. Other items include noise-cancelling earbuds to greatly reduce construction sounds and a respirator that helps wearer's breathe when air quality is poor.
