This is a bit of a strange one I was forwarded at work. The images are from a condom fashion show in China. I don't know a lot more than that, but the pictures are AMAZING. If I was to guess, I would say it is about promoting safe sex.
Implications - Some things, such as condoms, can become such well-known pop cultural symbols that consumers reinterpret their intended purpose all their own. Thus, a wave of DIY modifications on iconic products can be observed. Though some companies may feel the urge to step in and stop this from happening, it is best to let things take their course as pieces like condom couture essentially serve as free advertising.
