Distorted Chic Spring Fashion

LOEWE's Completely Hysterical Show Sets the Presence for SS22

LOEWE introduces its latest Spring/Summer 2022 offerings, naming the collection 'Completely Hysterical.' As the name suggests, the fashion house describes the capsule to be "neurotic, psychedelic, completely hysterical." The inspiration behind the capsule is rooted in the works of Italian painter Jacopo da Pontormo and his experimentation of different materials, dimensions, and optical illusions.

This is translated through looks such as body-hugging dresses built with metal wires to change the shape and distort the look of the entire silhouette. The trench coats are also a notable feature as it is designed to be worn backward. This is followed by shoulder gowns that hang with two vestigial sleeves and turtle neck shirts with clear resin "breastplates."
