Collectible holiday drinkware is adding a playful element to seasonal café experiences as Panera Bread introduces limited-edition glass Snowman Cups. Packaged in mystery boxes, the cups feature two festive designs, giving customers a surprise alongside the brand's holiday beverages and bakery treats.
The collection accompanies new Peppermint White Mocha and Pistachio White Mocha drinks, each available as a latte, iced coffee, or Frozen Java. Panera is also introducing a Cocoa Marshmallow Cake Slice and bringing back its Mitten Cookie. On December 3, participating cafés will offer free Snowman Cups to the first 12 customers making qualifying purchases of at least $25. Limited quantities will also be sold online for $22.
For Panera, exclusive collectibles create additional purchasing opportunities beyond food and beverages. The limited availability and mystery-box format could encourage holiday visits, while seasonal menu pairings support customer engagement.
