Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte Intends to Evoke the Taste of "Pixels"

Coca-Cola has officially unveiled Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte, the second all-new beverage to be produced by its recently launched Coca-Cola Creations department, introduced as a new innovation hub dedicated to pushing the comapny's creative boundaries.

According to the company, the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte is a soft drink that intends to evoke the taste of "pixels" -- a concept more than a traditional flavor. To advertise the one-of-kind new beverage, Coca-Cola teamed up with gaming organization PWR to launch a Pixel Point Island in Fortnite where players engage in new mini-games and hunt for Coca-Cola-themed treasures.

The new gaming-focused Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte is set to drop at numerous retailers starting May 2 in the United States.
