Reformation's RefRecycle Asks Shoppers to Send in Old Outfits

This clothes recycling program is easy enough for even the most lazy of people to get on board with. RefRecycle is an initiative from Reformation which asks shoppers to get rid of the clothes they don't wear anymore.

All online customers receive a box with a free shipping label that they are supposed to fill with clothes that would otherwise end up in a landfill. In addition to compelling customers to recycle clothes to make an environmental impact, the campaign encourages them to post cringe-worthy vintage outfits as part of the #OutfitofthePast contest to win a $500 voucher from Reformation.

The clothes recycling program is the result of a collaboration with Community Recycling, which resells used clothing in bulk to people who wouldn't be able to afford new clothing. CR is currently established in communities in more than 50 countries.
