Brazilian architecture studio ARQBR just completed a circular church in Brasilia, Brazil. Made with concrete and wood, the structure measures 3,900 square meters in space and boasts 360-degree views.
As an architectural marvel, the circular church showcases a unique approach to religious spaces, departing from conventional church structures. The circular shape creates a sense of unity and inclusivity, inviting worshippers to come together in a communal setting. The form can also be used as a symbol for the cyclical nature of life.
ARQBR ensures that natural light can penetrate the walls of the structure in order to create a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere. The interior features a central altar, surrounded by curved seating. The exterior, on the other hand, is adorned with beautiful landscaping.
