Irony has always been a fashion sense left to the bold, and here is another one for the hipster in your life—ultra conservative! Perhaps a response to the ever-shortening of hem lines and the plunging of neck lines, a way to set yourself apart when skin is in; these prairie style dresses are slowly becoming more and more visible on vintage clothing racks.

The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS) ranch known as ‘Yearning for Zion’ came to mainstream attention when it was raided in 2008, but it was members choice of dress that really caught the public’s attention more than anything, and with the launching of a website through which one can purchase these fetching numbers, you are sure to see someone ironically donning a number on the street.

One of those wacky Olsen twins has already jumped on this bandwagon, I am betting Chloe Sevigny will be the next celebrity on board.
