Punk Safety-Pinned Footwear

The Charlotte Olympia Tom Binns Collection is Chicly Rebellious

The Charlotte Olympia Tom Binns collection was created to celebrate the latest exhibition held by the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Titled 'Punk: from Chaos to Couture,' the retrospective has inspired staple footwear and purses from Charlotte Olympia to go punk. This rebellious streak comes in the form of safety pins, which pierce the facade of three pieces.

Comprised of the cleverly renamed pieces Anarchy Kitty, Punk Pandora and Dolly Riot, the Charlotte Olympia Tom Binns collection revamps the familiar designs in an edgy way. While the Kitty flat boasts a safety pin through the nose, the Pandora clutch has been covered in pins. Despite the punk twist, the designs are still very chic.
