COVID-19 has displaced thousands of vulnerable people throughout America, prompting the New York‘s Coalition for the Homeless - an advocacy group fighting to provide food, housing and resources to the homeless population - to team up with 50 artists on a unique and charitable collaboration.
Each artist has designed a porcelain plate, resulting in a total of 50 limited-edition designs. Each plate is retailed for $175 USD, with the proceeds from each plate going towards providing a meal for 75 food insecure New Yorkers. The participating artists include Yoshitomo Nara, Maurizio Cattelan and Ed Ruscha, and more. This incredibly unique collaboration offers the chance for consumers to own affordable original art work while doing good for the community.
