Mermaid is the name of this carved wood speaker from Audio Wood, featuring a sleek silhouette that stands on its own "fins." A pair of the satellite speakers are meant to be used with one to two subwoofers to deliver a sound that is precise and high-quality. In addition to mimicking the shape of a mermaid's tail, the name of the design could also play off of the captivating song of the siren.

The speaker is crafted in the USA using a piece of solid, non-endangered southern poplar wood. Although the wooden speakers only stand about 38" high, Audio Wood boasts that its sleek Mermaid speakers "Provide a "punch" that is unmatched for their size."
