Career-Integrated College Courses

Podium Education Expands Career Discovery to 10 Universities

Podium Education is expanding career-integrated college courses through its Career Discovery program, bringing workplace experiences to first-year students at 10 universities. Unlike traditional career opportunities offered later in college, the for-credit course introduces students to professional environments early, helping them explore their interests and make informed academic decisions.

The fully digital program connects participants with employers including L'Oréal, Crocs, and IDEO. Students attend live sessions with industry professionals, complete practical workplace projects, and reflect on potential career paths. During the spring 2026 pilot, 80% of participants reported greater career confidence, while their intention to remain enrolled increased by 15 percentage points.

For universities, the expansion offers another way to strengthen student engagement and support retention efforts. Participating employers also gain opportunities to connect with emerging talent earlier and introduce students to potential career pathways.
