Touch Sight

The Touch Sight is a brilliant concept camera for the visually impaired. It records sounds and transfers images via 3D embossing technology so that people who can't see will still have a recording of the sounds of the event and be able to use their sense of touch to "see" the image.

This was one of the winning designs for the 2008 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA). The IDEA® program is the premier international competition honoring design excellence in products, ecodesign, interaction design, packaging, strategy, research and concepts.
