One of the most literal typographical pieces of seating out there, the 'C-H-A-I-R' chair is wonderfully expressive.

Made up of five separate pieces which spell out the word "chair," this furniture is easy to assemble and incredibly clever. When properly assembled, however, it is difficult to make out the letters which make it stand out. Creator Eric Ku cited artist Joseph Kosuth as his inspiration, particularly with regard to the use of letters as a design concept. The piece is uniformly white and starkly streamlined, and would be a great fit in a modern setting.
