Ultra-Sustainable E-Bikes

Buddy Bikes Announced the 'X1' E-Bike With a 68% Lower CO2 Footprint

'Buddy Bikes,' an Oslo, Norway-based bicycle manufacturer, announced the 'Buddy X1,' a new low-emissions e-bike. This bike is made with a unique 3D-printed frame made in collaboration with 'V Frames.' V Frames used carbon composite injection molding technology to create a sturdy frame that produces over 68% fewer CO2 emissions than traditional aluminum frames for bicycles. In addition to this, the nature of the carbon composite frame results in the Buddy X1's frame being fully recyclable.

Aside from its impressive sustainability achievements, the Buddy X1 also features a powerful motor that can be customized with different speeds and levels of pedal assistance. In addition to this, the bike will have a number of options for battery and motor size. The full specifications for the Buddy X1 will be unveiled at Eurobike 2022 in Norway.
