Numskull Designs announced an upcoming range of Silent Hill-inspired merchandise, beginning with a 9" replica of the 'Bubble Head Nurse' from the survival horror game. The Bubble Head Nurse is an iconic female monster from 'Silent Hill 2,' a fan-favorite PlayStation 2 game. Silent Hill 2 follows James Sunderland, a widower who searches for his lost wife in the town of Silent Hill after receiving a suspicious message from her.
The Bubble Head Nurse is a creature formed out of the subconscious mind of James, who is hunted by the monster at several points in the game. The statue itself boasts an astonishing level of detail. From the deformed head of the nurse that gives her her name to the bed-side table covered in dirtied medical tools, the statue does not leave any design note unnoticed. The monster is adorned in a bloodied, dirtied nurse outfit, and she is wielding a broken, bloody pipe.
