Edgy Punktography

Breeyn McCarney's Hard-Boiled Wonderland 2010 Lookbook

The edgy punk-chic style in the Hard Boiled Wonderland 2010 lookbook puts beauty in a whole new light.

Designer Breeyn McCarney originated the concept from 'The Ruins Of Detroit,' a photographic project by Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre. This piece depicts the struggle in finding beauty in a place of despair, which McCarney thoroughly portrays in the story of her designs. With small shots of color and spot-lit lighting, these shots definitely draw our eyes to the bright and hopeful hues amidst the dark, greyscale tones.
