The New Braven BRV-X Speakers are Waterproof and Shockproof

Wireless speaker manufacturer Braven has announced the newest addition to its lineup for wireless Bluetooth speakers, the Braven BRV-X TruWireless. This adventure-proof wireless speaker system is designed specifically for rugged outdoor use. Braven describes the BRV-X TruWireless as "the tank of mobile speakers."

The speaker is equipped with weather sealing that makes it completely waterproof and splash proof. It is also coated with high-impact plastic housing which itself is covered by a layer of rubber. This double-coating is designed to scoff in the face of the most violent drops and bumps.

The Braven BRV-X has a built-in battery that lasts for over 12 hours of continuous output between charges. The battery doesn't only power the speakers, but also sports a USB port that allows you to use it to charge smartphones, cameras and music devices. It is available for $229.99.
