Born X Raised x Vans Authentic 44 collection introduces collaborative skate sneakers with distressed canvas uppers, scuffed edges and yellowed midsoles that create a pre-worn finish. Designed by Born X Raised co-founder Alex "2Tone" Erdmann, the footwear is available in white, black and blue colorways first previewed during Paris Fashion Week. Pen-style illustrations cover the canvas with brick wall graphics around the toe and heel alongside spiders, spider webs, teardrops, paint splatter details and handwritten "OFF THE WALL" typography, translating the artwork first seen on a Friends and Family edition released in Mexico City.
The footwear is accompanied by an apparel capsule featuring a washed black hoodie and matching sweatpants, black and blue graphic T-shirts, a mesh football jersey with Born X Raised's Old English branding and khaki trousers. The collection follows an exclusive House of Vans Mexico City event where a limited 50-pair Friends and Family version debuted.
