Marvel is entrusting the Japanese animation studio Madhouse to produce the 'Blade' anime, which is sure to please fans of American and Japanese comics alike.
The 'Blade' anime will follow the vampire hunter as he tracks down and fights legions of the undead. Marvel is also producing anime series starring Iron Man and Wolverine, which are expected to air State-side July 29th on G4Tv.
Now if only there were a Blade and Twilight series crossover, I could finally see the infamous vampire hunter track down some Cullens.
Implications - As the world becomes increasingly globalized, consumers are seeing pop culture unifying people of all nationalities. Corporations looking to reach audiences abroad may consider using pop culture figures and symbols to establish commonality between themselves and their foreign peers.
