Black Swan by Laura Neumeister Captures an Exquisite Evil

Apparently the obsession behind the twisted ballerina movie has yet to really recede. Black Swan by Laura Neumeister explores one of the film's themes in this editorial of the same name.

While a narrative can be established in a series of photographs, here the viewer cannot get a good grasp of the initial nature of the striking Lauren Aitken. However, with her fair skin and blonde hair, she symbolically represents the innocence that Natalie Portman did before she was possessed by the dark feathered character.

Airdrie Makim styled the fierce photo shoot with all black garments, accessories and even a skirt and headpiece of plumes. Black Swan by Laura Neumeister demonstrates how the shadowed appearance turns the star sinister.
