Marvel Collaborates with adidas to Launch a New 'Mahomes 1'

Marvel has collaborated with sneaker giant adidas to deliver a Black Panther-inspired silhouette. After collaborating with LEGO, adidas has revealed that the forthcoming collaboration utilizes Patrick Mahomes’ adidas ‘Mahomes 1 Impact FLX’ and incorporates design elements inspired by the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie. The uppers boast a ‘Core Black’ mesh base with reflective zig-zag patterning, purple outsoles, and lace locks that reference Vibranium. Metallic gold hits cover the lateral stripes and Mahomes tongue tab, which is a nod to Erik Killmonger’s suit in the first movie.

The sneaker is designed with recycled materials and BOOST midsoles. The adidas Mahomes 1 Impact FLX ‘Wakanda Forever’ releases online and at select retailers on September 30. The sneakers are currently priced at $140 USD.
