Strawberry Coffee Fragrances

YSL Beauty Introduced a Sweeter Black Opium Scent

YSL Beauty expanded its signature Black Opium fragrance franchise with Black Opium Pink Glaze Eau de Parfum, a playful gourmand scent designed with nights out in mind. The fragrance layers juicy strawberry with Black Opium’s recognizable coffee accord, alongside vanilla and jasmine for a sweet, warm finish. Actress Alisha Boe helped introduce the fragrance at YSL Beauty’s London Block Party, where the launch leaned into the collection’s long-standing association with nightlife, confidence and unapologetic self-expression.

Pink Glaze offers a brighter, fruitier interpretation of Black Opium’s darker gourmand identity without abandoning the notes that made the original recognizable. Its strawberry-forward profile also taps into growing consumer interest in edible, dessert-inspired fragrances. For beauty brands, these more playful scent extensions can refresh established fragrance franchises while giving loyal consumers a new reason to revisit familiar signatures.
