Japanese toy maker Takara Tomy has developed the ‘ene Bio Engine car,’ a radio controlled toy car powered by sugary liquids. The ene Bio Engine car runs on Sony’s sugar fueled Bio-Battery, says Inhabitots, which can be powered using different sugary liquids including juice and soda.
The speed and running time of the ene Bio Engine car, however, depends on the drink you use—the more sugar-filled the drink, the more power the car gets. Understandably, this would probably be confusing to children (is sustainable living more important than a healthy diet?).
