Bing's AI Chatbot by Microsoft Gets Personality Developments

Microsoft develops a new personality option for Bing's AI chatbot that alters the chatbot's responses. This includes the Creative option that allows the chatbot to have more "original and imaginative" answers. Alternatively, there is a Previse switch feature that is more 'to the point' and has shorter replies.

This continues with a Balanced setting that has the goal to find a middle ground. Microsoft programs the Bing AI responses after realizing that early users had noticed odd behavior when participating in longer chats and entertainment sessions. The toggle will be arriving as Microsoft expands access to the Bing AI. Now, the technology makes its way to mobile apps and Skype, as well as the Windows 11 taskbar.
