In a good news/bad news speech (you decide) Bill Gates, forecasted at the obvious at CES when he said that computers and technology will become even more ingrained in our everyday lives.

"The trend here is clear, all media and entertainment will be digital driven. The first digital decade has been tremendously successful," Gates said.

"Part of this has to do with Microsoft being tired of announcing new stuff that doesn't ever materialize or shows up in a form very different than what was shown," Jupiter Research analyst Michael Gartenberg wrote.

At CES, Gates suggested televisions and cell phone will deliver digital content. He predicted the next digital decade will bridge gadgets and that everything will hook up with everything else to share information.
