The Beyond Immerse drinks have been announced by Beyond Meat as its latest innovation that transitions the brand from alt meat solutions to functional drinks.
The beverage range consists of drinks with a clear pea protein base alongside tapioca fiber, electrolytes and antioxidants to give it a nutritionally focused recipe. The drinks come in two protein options including either 10-grams or 20-grams per can, while each one has seven grams of fiber and vitamin C. The zero-sugar alcohol drinks come in three flavors including Lemon Lime, Peach Mango and Orange Tangerine.
Founder and CEO Ethan Brown spoke on the Beyond Immerse drinks saying, "Our intent is simple: immerse the consumer in the remarkable nutrition of plants – from protein to fibre, with the addition of antioxidants and electrolytes – all in a single refreshing and satisfying 12 fl oz drink. Beyond Immerse has been specially and carefully designed to provide nutrients that are critical to muscle health, gut health and immune function, so that whatever the goal is, consumers can Go Beyond.”
