While a spatchcocked chicken is a delicious entree option, it can be a lot of work to prep. Fortunately, Trader Joe's has done all that prep for you by working with a supplier to sell a perfectly seasoned, read-to-cook spatchcocked chicken. The new BBQ Seasoned Spatchcocked Chicken is pre-butterflied and flattened, and then marinated in a blend of apple juice, maple syrup, honey, mustard, coffee, and peppery BBQ seasonings.

Because the chicken's been flattened it cooks up quite quicky and retains a little more moisture than a whole bird. That means that all you need to do is remove the chicken from the bag and cook it on the grill or in the oven in a shallow baking dish.
