Indian Chef Vikas Khanna developed this recipe in partnership with chef Andrew Blackmore. It is said that this recipe happened completely by accident when the two chefs mistakenly swapped flours while baking. The rest is history, but the end result provided many dessert fans with the Chocolate Basmati Rice Souffle. The usual chocolate souffle provides a sweet taste along with its soft form while this gluten-free dish offers earthy flavors as well as sweet.
When making this dessert at home, grinding basmati rice works just as well as the basmati flour.
