Baskin-Robbins Announced a New Logo, Typeface, and Packaging

Baskin-Robbins redesigned its logo, typeface, packaging system, and brand image for the first time in several decades. The brand's new logo cleverly incorporates the "BR" from Baskin-Robbins in a two-toned color palette that allows the number "31" to be hidden within the BR. Baskin-Robbins has been using the number 31 in its branding for more than a decade. According to the brand, the number comes from the belief that guests should have a new flavor to enjoy on each of the 31 days in a month.

Baskin-Robbin's new packaging for cones is bespoke and minimalist. The cones feature the BR/31 logo alongside a plain white background with three colored stripes in the brand's colors. As for the plastic cups the brand uses, these have been redesigned to showcase the same BR/31 logo in the front with a two-toned background that encircles the remainder of the cup.

This rebrand gives Baskin-Robbins a more classy, high-end feel that does not sacrifice its original fun and colorful imagery.
