Levi’s has tapped Barbie Ferreira for a new graphic pair of ‘501’ jeans inspired by the ‘Euphoria’ actresses’ personal style. The jeans boast a “cyber-y, glitchy, internet-inspired aesthetic with design elements borrowed from vintage rug restoration processes. The jeans feature patchwork elements, a Demon Bunny tattoo inspired by Ferreira’s friend Ben Evans, and glitchy patterning throughout. Consumers can choose between a deep blue or forest green colorway.
“My relationship with Levi’s jeans goes back to when I was a kid. It’s my dream casual wear and this is my dream collaboration… Levi’s was so incredible to work with, and 501s are my dream baggy pants, so the first thing I thought of was a patchwork jean that was a real statement piece. It encapsulates what I like and what I would wear. Plus, I always wanted to make clothing in a different way, that has a wider range of sizes.”
