HOTELEX Shanghai Debuts the Bar & Drinks Shanghai Division

The HOTELEX Shanghai exhibition is introducing a new dedicated sector titled The Bar & Drinks Shanghai. This division is focused on connecting international producers of spirits, wine, and craft beer with commercial buyers across Asia’s hospitality industry.

HOTELEX Shanghai's Bar & Drinks Shanghai platform is designed to move beyond conventional product displays by creating immersive, scenario-based environments that simulate actual bar settings. With this, the entity aims to facilitate direct engagement, storytelling, and business transactions. The exhibition focus falls on three growth categories — "Spirits, catering to premiumization and younger consumers; Wine, aligned with China's shift toward lighter, experience-driven consumption; and Craft Beer, where quality, individuality, and cultural identity increasingly influence purchasing decisions."

Scheduled as part of the larger HOTELEX trade fair in March 2026, the Bar & Drinks Shanghai activation will integrate elements like mixology demonstrations and bartender competitions to create a comprehensive business and networking environment for market entry and expansion.
