Designer Olivier Rousteing recently announced plans for a Balmain Kids line that would provide pint-size fashionistas with the same kind of high-end garments produced by his label. After the designers highly-anticipated collaboration with H&M, it seems that Rousteing is eager to tackle a different demographic.
The Rousteing line was originally inspired by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter North. As Rousteing explains, "I had a conversation with Kim, and that was the beginning of how I really understood that the Balmain universe can also belong to kids." As a result, the famed designer has created 55 pieces for fashion-conscious kids. These pieces boast the same military glam aesthetic as the Balmain label, but with age-appropriate details.
The new line is ideal for style-conscious parents who want to dress their children in equally luxurious garments.
