The floating soccer ball installation is dubbed 'Obverse and Reverse XLI' and it is not only a daring and haunting arrangement of objects but it also offers a curious technical approach. For his piece, Darío Escobar turned 120 soccer balls inside out and "meticulously sew [them] back together." In a certain way, this rebellious act of deconstruction takes away the value from the object and allows the artist to rewrite its narrative.
