Mysteriously Vine-Covered Models

The Balenciaga Spring 2014 Campaign Stars Daria Werbowy

The Balenciaga Spring 2014 ad campaign is dark and mysterious. A big departure from Alexander Wang's own Spring 2014 ad campaign, which happens to take place in a bathroom, this one is set outdoors against a vine-covered wall. But what makes it even more interesting is the fact that the model is becoming covered herself.

Shot by photographer Steven Klein, the Balenciaga Spring 2014 ad campaign stars model Daria Werbowy. Super rich, the mysterious imagery may raise a few brows, but most people will be enamored with her black jacket styled by Jacob K and purple lips courtesy of makeup artist Diane Kendal. Wang reveals, "I wanted to convey a sense of strength and knowingness."
