Lightspeed and Max Levchin uses Balance to invite B2B payment into an online space for ease and seamless transactions. Balance is a contemporary finance solution that efficiently manages payments for merchants, offering a variety of methods such as bank wires and ACH.

It also offers a plethora of different payment terms such as net payment terms, payment on delivery, and payment by milestone. Essentially, Balance helps by underwriting the terms of the different transactions with the financing based on the merchant, the risk evaluation of the customer, and the selected payment term. Founders Yoni Shuster and Bar Geron met while working at PayPal, as the two learned about customer payments at a global scale. They noticed the lack of digitalized payments in B2B financing and took an expansive perspective to finding a solution.
