'Backbone,' the company known for making mobile phone-focused gaming accessories, such as controllers, cases, and more, recently announced its Backbone One 2nd Generation controllers for Android and iPhone 15. The Backbone One is a premium and officially-recognized mobile controller available in two configurations: one that mimics an Xbox controller, and one that mimics a PlayStation 5 controller.
The Xbox variation is black and is verified for Gamepass streaming, as well as mobile gaming, while the PlayStation variation is white like a Dualsense controller, and is the only verified mobile game controller for PlayStation Remote Play, as well as for applications such as Call of Duty Mobile or Warzone Mobile.
The 2nd Generation Backbone features a few upgrades over the original, including D-Pad design, joystick accuracy, and a new magnetic holding system that ensures the phone is more securely in place between the controllers.
