Awake Ny x Air Jordan 6 Marks the Silhouette's 35th Anniversary

The Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 celebrates the 35th anniversary of the iconic basketball silhouette through a collaboration inspired by New York's bootleg fashion culture. Designed with founder Angelo Baque, the sneaker combines exaggerated colour blocking, reworked branding and exposed stitching with premium materials including Saffiano leather, Midnight Navy and Light Blue leather panels, Game Royal nubuck, Sail accents and Infrared 23 details. Classic Air Jordan 6 features, such as the lace pocket, dual lace toggles and visible Nike Air cushioning, remain intact while incorporating Awake NY branding throughout the design.

The collaboration extends beyond footwear with a coordinated apparel collection featuring a co-branded tracksuit, polo shirt and additional ready-to-wear pieces designed to complement the sneaker. Blending luxury materials with references to New York street culture, the capsule explores the contrast between elevated craftsmanship and bootleg-inspired aesthetics.
